"This is stinking".
Samira exclaimed as the food slid down from her hand sloppily. Yamini looked into her daughter's food and then into hers. And as said the food is stinking and sloppy.
"This is stale food".
Yamini yelled out loudly disgusted with the food as a deep scowl was left on her face.
"What is this? Are you stopping this low right now. You can't even serve proper food for us. Do you know how hard work we did in the morning". Meera exclaimed as the lines twisted on her forehead. They were seated down on a mat line-wise.
Ridhima who stood just a little bit away leaning on the kitchen counter with her hands folded looked at them and spoke in her monotonous voice.
"This is what you were given to eat today mam. Either have this or starve for a whole day".
"That's rubbish. We worked hard and this is what we get". Meera spoke as she pushed away the plate.
"I'm no one to answer your questions, mam. It is Arnav, sir who said. Please do talk to him. I'm just following his orders.
Anger, humiliation, ego. Yamini felt all this in seconds as her nose flared and looked up glaring at her indignantly but said nothing.
Throwing away the plate she got up from her place and got into her room followed by Meera and her daughter.

Aasha started to do her work as said she first started with cleaning the room and then cleaning the furniture. She did everything as was said and surprisingly again came for lunch and she served him again. Thankfully this time he didn't force her to eat as well as she quit to her room. She took her sweet time cleaning his office room as well as there is not much work like in her last days. In total, she has to clean only two rooms but are pretty big. His bedroom is the biggest of all and his office room is the third one.
A few days went by everyone one of the Guptas adapted to the new timetable and Aasha started to serve them food secretly at one random possible time in their rooms as she got to know that they were being fed with the stake food.
None of them thanked her nor Yamini is angry at her anymore still remembering that Aasha is still having her morning breakfast with their enemy.
One night she was chanting the lord's name on the count of rudraksha (stone fruit / consider pearls) sitting on the bed when suddenly her room door burst open. She gasped in shock as she stood up reflexly. With two big strides into her room, he reached her and caught her wrist dragging her with him.
Panic settled in as she remembered the night. She tries her best to get her hand out of his hold but he however dragged her upstairs. As his room came into view tears threatened to come out of her eyes but surprisingly she was dragged past it to the side room. Opening the door he swung her to the front causing her to land on the ground with her hands saving her face to fall first.
Collecting up herself she turned back to look at him when all of a sudden he crunched down to her height and gripped her jaw.
"Did you disobey me"?
His face was hard void of any emotions except anger as his jaw was clenched. Her onyx eyes looked fearful at him as uncertainty swirled in them.
"Speak. Did you disobey me"?
He whispered huskily as his grip tightened on her chin.
"Speak"!
"N-no. N-ni sir".
"I'm giving you one chance, to tell the truth. If you ain't giving up on lying. Consequences would be much harder than that might".
Her breath hitched as her eyes widened with heavy tears ready to stream out as she shook her head.
"Please no sir. P-please. I didn't do anything".
"Is this your final word? You say you didn't lie and disobey me right now "?
His tone rose with warning as he raised a brow at her.
" I said you to not do any slavery to them and do not help them. I told you one thing that is to obey me. To listen to me. But yet you went to them. Sneaking food to them every time. Isn't it".
Her frame froze as things registered about what he is talking about. Since it became a daily work and a little bit loose eye on them she sneaked the food with ease and didn't think that it would be this consequential. Though she sneaked it too often she took care that neither they nor she wouldn't get caught but it happened.
But her problem isn't getting her caught. It is the fear about what is coming next from him when he just promised that it would awful than the last night.
"Now. Suggest to me what more worse can I do to you than the last night".
