Chapter 13

The next day she was in the kitchen wrapped in her white saree cooking his breakfast as he said. She doesn't want to take any chances with him again. Doesn't want to anger him which could lead to anything. Yesterday night was one dreading night for her. Her anxiety reached the peak that she fainted and was woken up in the morning by some Ridhima as she listened calling him.

Her eyes were swollen her cheeks chubby from all sleeping and crying early in the morning. There is a hint of redness all over her bare skin as she rubbed herself roughly. Her routine was largely disturbed but remembering that she doesn't have to sweep and mop the house she did her head bath and did Pooja spending an extra half an hour complaining about all his actions and her accusations on him at last seeking strength from the lord.

And right from one hour, she prepared four dishes. Gobi Paratha with a side curry if needed, Rice, and paneer curry. Ridhima said he would also take lunch from home so she cooked his lunch as well.

By the time Ridhima asked to keep it ready she completed making breakfast and was ready to run to her room and lock it just to avoid him. She isn't prepared to face him after what happened yesterday. She doesn't want to see him at all. There is no strength in her to face him lm again. It will remind her about what happened last night.

She is just about to pass through the kitchen when suddenly Ridhima came and asked her to wait in the kitchen. Aasha tried to put her word but Ridhima didn't give her any time to utter a word and left the place in a hurry. Yet, she decided to dare it by leaving the room. But luck was on her bad side as he already arrived at the table talking on his phone. She scurried back to the kitchen and crushed herself in a corner so that he couldn't see her.

"Maa. I don't want to waste time talking about this. They deserve it".

"....".

"I know, I know that gonna happen but let me get what I want".

" Maa. I'm not listening anymore. I'll just clear them by the time you come. That's it. Now please. Give me a leave".

Saying that he cut the call pulling a chair himself and sitting on it. A hand came forward as they turned the plate around to fill his plate with breakfast when he suddenly interrupted her.

"I want them to serve my food who had made it. Call them".

Was his loud order as his left hand got busy with the phone again, his thumb scrolling and checking through the emails.

None made the move nor came the sound and he lift his eyes to look at Ridhima looking at someone with con earned face pursuing her to come here while jutting her chin.

Without making much movement he turned back a little and looked at the kitchen to see none. But he convinced himself that there is someone in the kitchen hiding at the angle where he can't see as still, Ridhima is looking there. Turning to his place he took a deep breath from his nostrils and shouted.

"I DON'T HAVE ALL TIME HERE. MOVE YOUR ASS WHEN I CALL YOU".

He shouted and then he heard those faint hurried steps as she came with her little fast movements to the table. He need not look up to confirm who she is as her alluring sandalwood scent spread to his nostrils as he found himself closing his eyes momentarily enjoying the smell. It felt so fresh as she just came out after bathing. Her pale hands projected as she took two parathas and put them on his plate with a side curry as well. After finishing his plate she turned around about to leave when he grabbed her hand making her startled.

"What if I need more? Who will be serving me"?

He asked as he look at her to meet with the confused eyes but her lashes dropped down as soon as he connected his eyes with her.

"Stay".

Was his one-word order and she stood there impassively her eyes moving momentarily to his plate waiting for him to get it finished. But his breakfast was gone rather slowly asking her to serve a pretty number of times.

"Sit there and have your breakfast".

She blinked at him as she eyed the opposite chair of his and stayed rooted to her spot concluding he didn't say that for her. His brows shot up as he set his death-glaring eyes on her and she turned attentive feeling his gaze on her.

"Are you fucking deaf. Didn't you hear what I said. Just serve yourself and eat before I get up from my seat".

He gritted out and shakily she scurried to the opposite chair and took a plate for herself with small portions of servings.

He watched her serving herself before continuing to eat. His eyes randomly glanced at her minding how she is pecking the food like a bird.

Just then Yamini was passing by with a scowl over her face and a mopping stick with a small bucket in her both hands as she stopped when she saw them through her peripheral vision.

Slowly turning to her right she looked at the unaccepting thing. There he was having his breakfast. A crawl of disgust and venom crawled up in her nerves but this time it wasn't the only case. There is another as well which hyper-ed her. Though it disturbed her, she accepted the reality that her ruling doesn't do anymore but only listen to him. She prepared herself to see him, boss around the house. But another most unaccepting thing is she saw Aasha having breakfast and sitting with him equally. None of them looked at her and were having their breakfast. Her blood boiled seeing her eating her food leisurely while she didn't get to eat yet and that too while working her ass off. She glared at her with venomous eyes when suddenly a clitter clatter was heard as a bowl fell with the resounding steel material.

Her eyes fell on the content that was spilled from the bowl and then looked up at the man who did it. Her eyes met with his as he looked at her with nothing in particular.

Aasha who saw it immediately stood up to clean until her eyes fell on Yamini. Her eyes widen as her posture became stern meeting with the hateful accusing eyes.

"M-ma".

"Sit down".

She heard him as she exchanged a look between him and her mother-in-law.

"I said sit down".

She obliged him as she sat hesitantly still feeling that murderous warning eyes on her. Gulping she looked down at her plate not touching the food anymore.

"Eat and you clean it".

Her teeth gritted looking at him when he again demanded to clean the floor slamming the bucket down she started to clean the floor while Asha didn't touch the food yet. On seeing her not eating food he leaned back on the chair and tilted his face looking at her.

"When I say something you should listen Asha. That's better for you. Do not test my patience. You know what happened last night. Isn't it".

And that did work. Her hand immediately was put into the work as she dug into the food while he drank his juice, his breakfast long finished.

Yamini cleaned the floor and scurried away from there with a deep scowl on her face. Later she put his packed lunch on the table for him to take but he left without taking it with him.

As soon as he left the place she inhaled and dropped herself on the chair and elbows on the table as she leaned her head into her hands regretting-ly. Two gulps of breath were taken as tears threatened to come out of her voice, a sob was ready to break out but she held it in. She shut her eyes tightly trying to restrict the tears as a meek mewl left from her mouth.

Now she is alone all the memories started to hit back at her. She felt disgusted at how he kissed her, bit her, and touched her. A few fits of soundless sobs left her mouth as tears fell on the table.

"Aasha".

Her name was called, startled she stood up abruptly rubbing away her tears but her red face and red eyes are quite evident that she cried a lot.

Ridhima came forward into view as she stared at her face and felt pity that wasn't so evident on her face. Gathering up herself she spoke in an authoritative voice.

"Go to the sir's room and clean the furniture. Do not take any things from his room nor keep any extra things in his room. Does it move anything from its original place unless you clean it? Don't you h any papers or files in his room? Change the mattress and take his clothes for laundry and check the toiletries in his washroom and put in extra ones if anything is about to finish. And! Clean his office room as well. Do not. Touch. Any. Of his. Papers. Or files".

She exhaled the held breath and Aasha looked at her with her eyes blinking innocently in amusement with her expressions cooled down. The woman amazed her with her blabbering and all of once she became a kid admiring her tongue-twisted commands.

Ridhima looked at her and felt a little relief seeing her flabbergasted rather than the pity face.

"I-I will".

Ridhima's brows scrunched at her wordings. She almost talks stuttering showing her lack of confidence or socialising. That's what she understood far better about her. Turning on her heels she walked away and the girl sighed before walking to his room and starting the work.
